For as long as I can remember I have loved to observe. Family seeing other after a long time apart, friends sitting quietly at ease in one another's company, the flicker of emotion as someone quietly remembers something fondly. Or something bittersweet. Big belly laughs. Someone in their element in their environment, be it a teenage bedroom with every inch of wall covered or someone telling a story with all eyes on them or someone quietly preparing food they know will be delighted in.

 

Early on my camera became a way I could freeze these moments and once I realised how powerful it was to create real, physical memories I was hooked! Getting to do this with you is absolutely my jam.

 

I'm a wild landscape seeking, dark beer drinking, loud car singing, greyhound (the dog) loving birthworker, teacher and photographer. My work is influenced by you, my two homes of Canada and New Zealand, and all of the above.

 

I document all love, all families, all bodies. I truly believe every story is special. But I don't want to tell it for you, I want to tell it with you. I am here for the big moments, the small moments, and all the rest.
